ALL electrical sockets in the hall (including on the stage) are to be turned off and the plug removed and not the plug just being pulled out and the switch left on.
There are four light switches situated in the entrance lobby: –
- A push button switch with a timer delay, this is intended for use at the end of an evening function to allow sufficient time for the last person to turn off the other lights, lock up the hall and close the gates before the light is automatically extinguished.
- A switch for the middle pair of florescent lights in the main body of the hall
- A switch for the lobby light
- A switch with neon indicator for the car park flood light and other outside lights
The white 3-gang switch just inside the stage door controls the remaining lights in the hall.
The toilet lights are switched on and off automatically by movement sensors.
The fuse box (containing trip switches) is located in the dressing room at the side of the stage.
The switches for the ceiling fans are located above the door next to the stage.
They can be used in the winter to re-circulate the warm air as well as for cooling in the summer.
